The wave model viewer below is provided by The Coastal Data Information Program (CDIP). CDIP measures, analyzes and disseminates coastal wave data for a wide range of coastal managers and users. The default wave model view is a statewide nowcast model. Choose regional views within the state using the drop-down menu and also select views of wave heights, periods or directions from the other menu (as shown by map colors). Dominant wave directions are indicated by map arrows. For most zoomed in views, click the tab 'Ports & Harbors' and select an area from the menu. Wave forecasts are up to 90 hours and can be seen for any model except the statewide view.
